Dedicated to Vietnamese translators of the "Shoppaholic" series

I really admire you guys!!!

You all translated the serious successfully and very "teenly" XDDD I read the series in English already but when I read it again in Vietnamese, I didn't see much the difference between the literary styles of the origins and the translated one. I'm also being trained to become a translator but I really am not confident to become someone like you. Though I think I've learnt much from you and have to say you guys set a very moderate example for me to follow. Thanks! ^^

Among all of you who translated "Shoppaholic" series, I think I'm into Phong Linh's version most. One very hilarious detail is that when I read the last book of the series, there's one quote that becomes one of my fav quotes: "You have no idea, so shut the fuck up" (by L. Brandon, p.390). I tried to find a equal way to translate the sentence but Linh surprised me with "Cô đéo biết gì hết nên câm mẹ mồm nó lại đi" (nguyên văn) LMAO, I think Linh's so brave to do so =)))))) because when you translate a literature work, you usually try to be moderate and polite, in a limitted way, yet "Shoppaholic" is a really new series, a modern ones exactly so I think I'm fine with Linh's way of translation.

Anyway, thank you guys to give readers us such an awesome translated work. Thank you!!!

PS: Sry Linh, I called you by ur first name 'cause I really don't know Phong Linh should be a male or a female name, LOL.
